At Premier Physical Therapy in Broomall, licensed physical therapists employ a variety of evidence-based techniques to rehabilitate athletes and non-athletes after an orthopaedic injury or surgery. Following evaluation by an experienced Premier specialist, treatment programs are created with the intent of not only applying the most appropriate care, but on educating patients on their particular injury and the best way to prevent any reoccurrences.

Aiding in their quest of returning each patient to action in a timely fashion, Premier’s therapists rely on some of today’s leading technological tools-including the Keiser hydrolytic strengthen machine and the lumbar extension machine.

McCormack_Bridget

Bridget McCormack, PT

Physical Therapist

Bridget joined Premier in 2006. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2003 with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. She has worked an Outpatient setting since graduation treating patients of all ages and abilities. Her treatment philosophy is based upon regional interdependence and holistic treatment. She is FMS certified and has completed SFMA Level 1 and 2. She is also trained in Graston technique, myofascial trigger point release, and muscle energy techniques.

Bridget utilizes her manual skills in accordance with the Funcional Movement system to restore neuromuscular control to the body and return patient to proper function. Her special interests are the spine and the athletic population.

Russ

Erasto “Russ” Valle, PT, MPT, OCS, COMT

Physical Therapist

Russ received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2002. In 2010 he completed his certification as Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in Maitland technique. He is board certified as an orthopedic specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has practiced orthopedic manual and sports physical therapy with an emphasis on injury management and orthopaedics for the spine and extremities.
Russ’s approach to treatment is to use movement and palpation to analyze muscle imbalances and find the root cause of the problem and return the patient back to their highest level of function using various manual therapy techniques and specific functional exercises.

Daley_MaryBeth

Marybeth Daley, PT

Physical Therapist

Marybeth received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Temple University in 1998 and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2001.

Marybeth has worked solely in the outpatient orthopaedic setting since graduation. She has experience across the outpatient spectrum treating both non-athletes and athletes at all levels from the weekend warrior to high school athletes and beyond. Her affiliations were in the sub-acute, rehab, orthopaedic and Veteran’s Administration settings. She uses a variety of techniques including hands on treatment, exercise both at home and in the clinic, and patient education to help them understand their injury, prevent reoccurrence and maximize their functional potential. Marybeth joined Premier in 2007.

Robinson_Matt

Matt Robinson, PTA

Physical Therapy Assistant

Matt attended Saint Joseph’s University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2012. Following SJU, he received his PTA degree from Mercyhurst University in 2014.

Matt enjoys working with patients of all ages; athletes and non-athletes. He is certified in both Graston and RockTape techniques which he uses to create an all-around better treatment plan for his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing golf.

Todaro_Steve

Steve Todaro, M.S., PT

Physical Therapist, Clinic Manager

Steve is a graduate of Arcadia University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been working in the Delaware County Community for the past 25 years in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Steve was an assistant football and wrestling coach for almost 20 years at Springfield High School, as well as being their first athletic trainer.
