ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATES - Dr. Bash joined the Orthopaedic Associates Division of Premier Orthopaedics in 1989 as a General Orthopedist. Anne E. Colton, M.D.
SURGICAL ORTHOPEDICS - Dr. Colton began her interest in orthopaedic surgery as a Division 1 basketball player at the University of New Hampshire. It was there that she met an orthopaedic surgeon who helped her teammate return to the game after a season-ending ACL rupture. In this she discovered the unique ability that a surgeon has in restoring athletes to full function. She served as team captain in her senior year and was named Scholar Athlete of the Year.

After medical school at Temple and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Penn, she furthered her surgical skills at the elite Rush University Medical Center, where she worked with the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls, as well as served as a team physician for a professional women's softball team and a minor league ice hockey team. Recognized as a leader in knee ligament (ACL) reconstruction, Dr. Mazur's patients consist of world class athletes as well as weekend warriors. Dr. Odgers received his medical degree from Temple University in 1992 where he earned Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then completed an orthopaedic surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 1997 while receiving the resident award for kind and compassionate patient care. PA ORTHOPAEDIC CENTER - Dr. Raab is a native of Chester County growing up in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He graduated from West Chester East High School in 1993. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, he returned to the Philadelphia area to attend medical school at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his medical degree in 2001.

Dr. Raab completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2006 at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He received the Mark and Henrietta Avart Award for outstanding resident his senior year. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and has been in practice since 2006 providing treatment for all aspects of musculoskeletal care.

Dr Raab joined the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center in January of 2012 and has particular interest in shoulder reconstruction and fracture care. He employs state-of-the-art techniques in orthopaedic surgery utilizing minimally invasive and arthroscopic approaches, helping patients recover quickly and return to an active lifestyle.

Robert A. Ruggiero, M.D., F.A.C.S.
PA ORTHOPAEDIC CENTER - Robert A. Ruggiero, M.D., F.A.C.S. graduated from Hahnemann Medical College and was elected into the National Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopaedic residency program at Temple University Hospital under the direction of Professor John Lachman. He then joined the staff and faculty of Hahnemann Hospital and Medical College as senior instructor in orthopaedic surgery and director of the orthopaedic residency teaching program.

Dr. Ruggiero entered into private practice at Paoli Memorial Hospital and in 1979 established the Ruggiero Orthopaedic Associates, now known as the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Center.

Dr. Ruggiero has held many positions during his career, dedicating most of his efforts to the Paoli Hospital and the Main Line Health System. He served as President of the Medical Staff of Paoli Hospital, Vice-Chairman of the Paoli Hospital Department of Surgery, Campus Chief of the Department of Surgery and System Chief of Orthopaedics for the Main Line Health System. He was also appointed to the Paoli Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and the Main Line Health Board of Governors. Dr. Ruggiero also served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Ruggiero is known as one of the top orthopaedic surgeons in the area and was voted “Top Doc” by Main Line Today magazine for many years. He is especially noted for his expertise in total joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery. He visited national centers to obtain the training and expertise that he developed over decades of practice, performing thousands of joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Ruggiero is a leader in his field and has helped to pioneer some of the orthopaedic advancements that we have seen used over the years. He shares his experience and skill with his colleagues by mentoring them to achieve their highest potential of excellence.

As a lifelong athlete and an avid competitive runner, Dr. Ruggiero competes in over fifty races per year ranging from 5K’s to half-marathons, usually placing or winning in his division. His most coveted race is the one he started himself in 2002, the annual “Race Against Arthritis” 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the Arthritis Foundation and promotes healthy lifestyles and exercise. In 2004, he was awarded the Financial Development Award by the Arthritis Foundation for his efforts. In 2005, Dr. Ruggiero’s “Race Against Arthritis” was recognized by the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and was asked to join his race with the annual Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis. Dr. Ruggiero’s efforts helped raise over $200,000.00 for the Arthritis Foundation in 2009.

Despite his busy professional life, Dr. Ruggiero is also a family man. Along with his wife, he has two children and four grandchildren, with whom he spends most of his spare time.

Kelly Scollon-Grieve, M.D.
SPORTS AND SPINE REHABILITATION - Dr. Kelly Scollon-Grieve is happy to return to her roots in the Philadelphia area. After growing up in Ambler, PA and dancing at the Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet, Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors in Exercise Physiology at Boston University. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Kelly then completed her medical internship at Saint Vincent's Hospital in New York City and her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country. During her residency, Dr. Scollon-Grieve conducted research involving ultrasound-guided corticosteroid injections for carpal tunnel syndrome. She also presented research at multiple national conferences and authored a chapter in soon-to-be published textbook in Rehabilitation Medicine. Upon completion of her residency training, Kelly joined Premier Orthopaedics for sub-specialty fellowship training in Sports and Spine Rehabilitation, where she has been an invited lecturer at Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems.

He has been treating non-operative orthopaedic injuries on the Main Line for the last 10 years.

Currently, Dr. Walsh serves as the Head Team Physician for Rosemont College, Malvern Preparatory School, and Upper Merion High School. Dr. Walsh is also the team physican for Villanova University's Women's Basketball Team.

His practice is centered on athletes and active people of all ages, and he has a special interest in disorders related to running. He provides non-operative treatment for the entire spectrum of orthopaedic injuries, and performs video gait analysis and custom foot orthotic fabrication on-site.

Dr. Walsh is one of the few physicians in the Philadelphia area who is trained in Prolotherapy - dextrose injection treatments for chronic pain syndromes. He also performs PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) injections for acute and chronic injuries.

Concussion management is at the forefront of sports medicine, and Dr. Walsh is one of the area's experts in the field.

David Yucha, M.D.

Dr. Yucha also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Learning about his heritage, he earned his medical degree from Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine in the Philippines.
