Full-Time Physical Therapist

Premier Orthopedics is seeking a full-time, Pennsylvania Licensed Physical Therapist for our Bryn Mawr site. We are the largest provider of outpatient physical therapy located throughout Delaware, Chester and Montgomery Counties, providing an outstanding environment for both patients and staff and our patient population is a highly motivated group whose injuries are predominately sports medicine and post-surgical cases.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy examinations
  • Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs customized to each individual patient

Full-time Lockbox Representative

Position Summary

This position is responsible for posting payments for multiple physician divisions and providing resolution support for the payment posting team.  It is also responsible for preparing refunds and providing oversight of daily deposits including daily balancing of the accounts.  It is a full-time, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible position and reports to the Lockbox Manager.


The Lockbox Representative will have experience with all insurance payers, with the ability to interpret explanation of benefits. He or she must understand takebacks, refunds, payment adjustments and billing files.  Knowledge of medical reimbursement, cash receipts, reconciliation and remittance posting (ERAs) is required, as is an understanding of ERA files and /or EFT’s, and manual posting.  Experience with third party clearinghouse (EDI) related to 835/837 files is needed.Must be Excel-proficient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.  Experience with Allscripts and Orthopedics highly desired.

Athletic Trainer

A specially trained, certified, and licensed professional who performs tasks that might otherwise be performed by a physician. The physician Extender works under the direction of a supervising physician, typically in an orthopedic office to increase physician efficiency and patient care. Travel between Broomall, Media and Roxborough locations required.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review past SOAP notes to check plan of care.
  • Monitor patients as they proceed through the appointment, evaluation and
    treatment process.
  • Collect and/or review patient’s general medical and orthopaedic history.
  • Performing of Evaluations and Special tests.
  • Prepare medical SOAP notes and presentation of patient to physician.
  • Rehabilitation and general patient education.

Exercise Programs:

  • Preparation and Removal of casts, braces and splints.
  • Writing any medication prescriptions needed for signature from DO/MD.
  • Order diagnostic tests including: x-ray, MRI, CT scan, Doppler, lab/blood work, etc.
  • Prepare aspirations and injections.
  • Complete any workers comp or MVA paperwork.
  • Generate work/school/gym/sport excuse notes.
  • Review and assist with billing/ coding for patients visits.

PRN MRI Technologist

We are seeking a reliable PRN MRI technologist to work at our Exton and West Chester offices, with the ability to cover our Havertown office if needed. We are looking for someone with flexibility for afternoon and evening shifts, with the potential for some day shifts.

Accounts Receivable Representative

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for complying with all established internal guidelines in an effort to ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding claims, correct usage of reporting capabilities using Nextgen accounts receivable system.
  • Effectively utilize all electronic tools available to understand and resolve rejected or unpaid claims.
  • Identifies and reports to immediate supervisor any third party rejection trends or other issues that may affect claims payment.
  • Meets and strives to exceed the productivity measurements as set forth by the Premier senior leadership.
  • Complies with the standards set forth by documenting comments as indicated:
  • Action taken on follow-up.
  • Balance/payment information.
  • Next follow-up and appropriate activity code used in Nextgen.
  • When requesting information from departments, ensures professional and appropriate comments are made in Nextgen in their continued efforts to build positive working relationships with all departments, both internal and external.

    – Provides required documentation to third party payers in a timely and professional manner.
    – Maintains training and successfully keeping up-to-date all features regarding Nextgen AR Follow-up.
    – Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of how the Nextgen system can best be utilized;
    – Acquires and maintains a good working knowledge of how the physician billing system is constructed to assure knowledge and compliance with any special data entry requirements.
    – Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, payer websites, and document imaging.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a billing environment required.
  • Coding certification.

Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ICD10, and CPT coding required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of computerized billing systems, specifically Nextgen preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic PC operation, specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
