Dr. Miller received the Rising Star Award from the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association in 2008. He has also been recognized multiple times as a Top Doctor by Philadelphia and Main Line Today magazines. In 2002, he was inducted into Temple University's prestigious Gallery of Success, honoring graduates who have achieved exceptional professional accomplishments.

Academic Leadership & Research

Dr. Miller served as Chief Resident while helping pioneer the foot and ankle program at one of Philadelphia's largest Level I trauma centers. He began his academic career in 2001 at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he served as Residency Director, Chief of Section, and continues to hold the rank of Adjunct Associate Professor. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributed chapters to board review textbooks, and lectures nationally and internationally on foot and ankle surgery. He also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery and The Foot and Ankle Journal Online.

Innovation & Education

Committed to advancing podiatric education, Dr. Miller founded the Pennsylvania Intensive Lower Extremity Fellowship Program in 2011, recognized by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as the nation's first two-year postgraduate foot and ankle fellowship. In 2013, he established a new three-year residency program at Phoenixville Hospital to expand advanced surgical training opportunities for future podiatric physicians.
