Biography

Dr. David M. Baxter, D.O., is a dual board-certified physician specializing in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his Family Medicine residency and Sports Medicine fellowship at Crozer Health.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Baxter serves as clinical faculty for the Crozer Health Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and as a team physician for Team USA National Youth Soccer. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Delaware Valley Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Recognized as a Main Line Today Top Doctor and honored as Staff Resident of the Year during his training at Crozer Health, Dr. Baxter is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve their health and wellness goals. A former NCAA Division I athlete at James Madison University, he also provides medical coverage for local endurance events and enjoys supporting athletes both on and off the field.
