Bio

Armando Mendez, MD, specializes in Sports Medicine and brings extensive training and experience in orthopaedic surgery and spinal care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Mendez completed an internship at the Medical Center of Delaware, followed by a research fellowship at the A.I. duPont Institute, residency at the University of Kansas, and fellowship training in Spinal Surgery at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Mendez has received numerous honors, including the prestigious Russell S. Hibbs Award for excellence in spine research and innovation.
