Bio

Charles Hummer, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and advanced knee replacement. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with added qualification in sports medicine, Dr. Hummer delivers elite care to athletes and active individuals. A fellow of the AAOS and ACS, he is past president of the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society and Delaware County Medical Society. His sports medicine credentials include serving as an assistant team physician for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals during fellowship, as well as founding Chief Medical Officer for MLS’s Philadelphia Union, leading their medical care from team inception in 2010 through 2023.
