Bio

Robert Ruggiero Jr, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, hip and knee replacement. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his internship at Hahnemann University School of Medicine, residency at Allegheny University Hospital, and a fellowship in spinal surgery with Neurosurgical Group Indianapolis. Dr. Ruggiero Jr. is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Outside of his practice, he enjoys playing squash and has helped coach his children to national squash championships, reflecting his passion for athletics, mentorship, and helping others achieve their goals.
