Bio

Jeffrey Vakil, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Drexel College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Vakil is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. Before pursuing medicine, he was a collegiate athlete at Franklin & Marshall, competing in both ice hockey and baseball. His athletic background informs his commitment to helping patients regain mobility and return to active lifestyles.
