Interesting Facts

Dr. Briere is a United States Air Force veteran who served as a commissioned officer and Flight Surgeon, attaining the rank of Major. She has deployed in support of both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. Outside of medicine, she has enjoyed horseback riding and competing in hunter-jumper events since the age of seven.

Biography

Dr. Misha Briere earned her Bachelor of Science, graduating magna cum laude from North Carolina State University before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a traditional internship at Riverside County Regional Medical Center, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She also completed advanced training in aesthetic medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Shino Bay Aguilera.

Following medical school, Dr. Briere served eight years as a commissioned officer and Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Major. During her military career, she held numerous leadership positions, deployed overseas in support of military operations, and provided medical care to active-duty service members both in the United States and abroad.

In addition to her background in Sports Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Briere has extensive experience in Aesthetic Medicine and continues to provide advanced aesthetic treatments through her company, Bella by Misha LLC. Her diverse training and military service have allowed her to work alongside leading physicians from around the world, bringing a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
