Bio

James Zurbach, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He earned his M.D. from Penn State University College of Medicine following undergraduate studies at La Salle College. Dr. Zurbach completed his internship at the Naval Regional Medical Center, a residency at San Diego Naval Hospital, and a specialized fellowship in pelvic reconstruction.A proud U.S. Navy veteran, he served as an orthopaedic surgeon deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Zurbach holds active memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, bringing extensive military and clinical expertise to his patient care.
