Dr Berger is fantastic, He restored my life, Before his treatment I had given up exercise and golfing. Now I play golf, work on my house and exercise. I feel great. I was in such severe pain I could no longer do simple task around our house. Golf, even dining out was an ordeal. After a MRI study of my back and neck Dr Berger discovered an old injury I suffered during the Vietnam war where I had damaged a vertebrate in my neck and it was pinching a nerve. The pain was terrible. Dr Berger very gently inserted a needle in the right spot guided by Xrays and when he injected the drugs I could feel the pain melting away. Dr. Berger was the 1st (after many) Dr. to accurately diagnose a complicated MVA injury (SI joint problem, complicated by a herniated disk in the same area and a cervical injury), and to provide some relief to me after a full year of pain. 2 Years later, he's still as great a doctor as the 1st time we met and has worked with me to try and resolve what has become a chronic problem. Every time I've needed him to sit down and listen to what's going on with me, he actually stops, sits down, and really listens. He is incredibly knowledgeable about his area of expertise and follows through on things he says he'll do, such as information gathering, etc. He is genuinely supportive of complementary treatment (PT, acupuncture, massage, chiropractic) and has made the best devices available to me (TENS Unit, SI belt, Traction device). He's supportive and can still look me in the eye when I've reacted to pain and the frustration of my situation with tears. We laugh too. He has a quirky sense of humor.If you're anywhere near his offices in Quakertown and Bethlehem, check him out. He might be as good for you as he has been for me.
