The procedure was done at MUVE in West Chester, which was a fabulous facility and provided a great start to recovery. I highly recommend staying overnight. Dr. Pavlides is an active listener and that was reflected in his recommendation of MUVE considering my history with anesthesia. He is extremely clear in every message he is conveying, as well as incredibly thoughtful when this patient asks questions. In fact, it appears to be his practice to stop and specifically provide time for the patient to ask questions. That is incredibly respectful of the patient, as an active partner in care and definitely not something I’ve seen in other healthcare providers. As well, his office operates so smoothly and very close to on time. Also not my customary experience. Sue, my PT, was exceptional! Her easy yet professional demeanor is one to be modeled for sure. I’m already asking if she could be assigned for the other knee. I would strongly encourage you to consider Dr. Pavlides for all of the above reasons! Glad I did and will again for the other knee. Dr. Pavlides did my hip replacement surgery in December 2020, and I am beyond pleased with the results. I was told by another surgeon from a different practice that the surgery would be too complicated for him to perform due to a leg length difference. However, Dr. Pavlides did not hesitate to take me on as his patient. He did an excellent job, my legs are now identical in length, I am pain free and as an added bonus the scar from the incision is minimal. Dr. Pavlides has made me feel human Again! At the age of 30 after having my 1st son I decided to see him because my hip kept giving out on me. He took xrays and I was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia. This was something I was born with but wasn't diagnosed until I was 30!! He had told me I had the hip of a 70 yr.old women. I had a labrum tear and very bad arthritis. He told me I would eventually need a total hip replacement.I wanted to have another baby and I didn't know how giving birth would affect my new hip if I got it replaced so we waited and inbetween Both pregnancies I would see Dr. Pavlides for cortisone shots. I got pregnant with my 2nd child and could no longer get the shots so I dealt with the pain. I gave birth to my 2nd son at age 33 and I actually couldn't walk after that because of my hip pain. I saw him 9 months after giving birth (to get my body back to somewhat normal) and we decided to gey the surgery. I had lost 85% mobility in my left leg so the rehab after surgery was very hard for me. Now it is 10 months later I have never been more grateful for such a great, kind caring Dr. Like him! He has literally changed my life and I feel human again! I am now able to get down on the floor and play with my children in a way I had never been able to before. Dr. Pavlides performed a double knee replacement for me 4 years ago. Previous to my surgery, I had been using a cane and been in so much pain...I could only sleep for 20 minutes at a time. I’ve been with Dr Pavlides for about 9-10 years now. He operated on my ankle after I had concerns with the original surgeon. (Not in the same practice) He had me back on my feet so much faster and continued to do all follow surgeries that needed to take place. After that he did a complete total knee replacement. One month ago I had total knee replacement performed by Dr. Nikos Pavlides. He was highly recommended by my neighbor who works at the Pottstown Hospital. I cannot say enough about how great Dr. Pavlides has been and what a wonderful job he did with my surgery. I experienced almost no pain, even after the anesthesia wore off. I am totally pain free from any arthritis pain. He is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever been in contact with in my 64 years of life. I'm one of those people who reads reviews but I don't write them. This is a first for me. About 6 months ago I used word of mouth as well as online research to find Dr. Pavlides. I had a very complicated condition due to my severe rheumatoid arthritis. I had a severely deformed leg with severe knee arthritis which resulted in other doctors just sending me to someone else, " that could help someone with my condition". Then I meet Dr. Pavlides. I was only scheduled for a 20 minute visit but he must have spent twice that long with me reviewing my x-rays and explaining his surgical plan. A month later I had a unique procedure and I am so happy that I did. My led is straight and my pain is gone.
