I have to update my review as my last one is 5 years old . I just went through a 3 shot regimen for my knee . Ive had a lot of contact from front desk to nurses to the Doc himself . Just top-flight from attitude to interaction to procedures ...just awesome . Informative, professional and just a friendly atmosphere. I've had more than a few orthopedic surgeons through my years . From simple knee scopes to rods , screws and fake discs in my back . My latest experience was elbow surgery from injury by Dr. Horenstein . From staff on the phone to post op appointment with the doctor , this has got be to the most professional compassionate staff with the most skilled and comfortable doctor I've ever had the pleasure to deal with . Knee replacement is next , and there is only one doctor in the Philadelphia area that I would allow to do such a procedure. I've been to Dr. Hornstein's office for multiple issues. Most notable was a total knee replacement and I can't be any happier at the results and the care that I had both at the office and through the hospital. They were there to assist in any way during the process and always gave an honest and open opinion about my progress. I've been to him for my hip as well as calf issues. The staff there is remarkable in their professionalism and their care. I've always felt that they listened and heard what I said and then appropriately responded. Never had an issue with wait times. Dr Horenstein listened to my concerns and was extremely helpful and empathetic. He got down on the floor and examined my foot. He understood that I had replacement surgery on my left side and that I needed to use my cane - I was unable to walk with crutches. Surgery is not an option at this time. He opted for a boot and for me to keep off my foot for 6 weeks. I had 100% confidence in him. His staff all seemed so very happy. Devon and Drew were great! I have been seeing Dr.Horenstein for years. He always takes the time to listen to you and makes you feel like you are heard, he is honest and upfront. He is the best at giving needles/injections, I never feel it. They get you in to see the Dr. pretty quick, especially when you are in pain, and I never seem to have a problem getting my medication refills called in when needed. Both of my feet had huge bunyans and hook toes! BAD FEET!! Dr. Horenstein is very caring and approachable. I suffered a severe fractured ankle and needed to choose asurgeon to perform surgery including plates and screws. I considered several different lower leg/foot surgeons. I am so pleased with the results and so pleased that I chose this surgeon.
